Your contribution can support youth employment in South Africa
SSACI requires the generous sponsorship of corporations and foundations to undertake youth development projects. SSACI's objective is to strengthen the public skills system in South Africa to open pathways to youth employment. It also initiates and manages technical and vocational training projects that lead unskilled, unemployed youth people into skilled employment. Should you wish to make a contribution please contact CEO Mr. Ken Duncan:
Host a student, lecturer or an apprentice at your workplace
SSACI pioneered a systemic approach to workplace experience for college students and developed a national policy on work-integrated learning for the Department of Higher Education and Training. Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) deepens the trainees' knowledge about the occupation. It allows TVET Colleges to align the curriculum to the needs of the industry. WIL is also an essential component of artisan development.
Companies can host college students and college lecturers for Workplace-based Experience (WBE) and/or indenture apprentices on SSACI's Accelerated Artisan Training Project (AATP). Should you be interested in hosting students, lecturers or apprentices contact the project managers:
